Kurobera, Yamanashi

Golden Week I was invited to Kurobera to paint.

It was the Annual Soba festival.  It was my honor.  It was also a rainy day.

Painting live, under a blue tent, a 7 meter painting that dragged on the ground.

earlier, still in Tokyo - we had to measure the cloth
in Kurobera grinding ink

Ichiro-san introduced me.  And Akiyama-san and his band played a painting tune.

Pretty much the whole town of Kurobera turned out to eat soba and to see.

The top was in the trees
