Here are some amazing portraits done in watercolor by my mother in her 79th year on this earth:

  That they are amazing perhaps should not be, as she was better educated than I, has worked longer and harder than I, and has always been more sensitive and intelligent.  Still they amaze me.  And I hope to be able to do half such good work, and am optimistic that if I keep at it perhaps  in my 70s or 80 may.
