Wynne: My daughter, Janice, at the age of 9 years old, started her first ever calligraphy class with Oscar last year writing ‘Fai Chun’. I was so very fascinated to see how professional teacher Oscar is into Calligraphy, from the types of brushes, to ink density, to washing the brushes, sitting pose, and even to tell stories behind the Chinese wordings.

Oscar is very patient in his teachings. I think by learning Chinese Calligraphy, not only can we learn to write Chinese characters nicely , but it is also great to have someone so passionate explaining all the Chinese culture behind the writings. Chinese Calligraphy is definitely an amazing way to teach children Chinese Characters in a non-classroom tutoring setting.
